Melinda Wolrab comes to Archetype Design Studio with 10 years of interior design experience in Chicago and New York. She previously managed multiple design teams and projects for luxury residential, commercial, showroom, and office interiors. Melinda received a BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University, and attended the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. Melinda traveled extensively in Europe and lived in Rome. When not working, she enjoys cycling and visiting art museums and galleries.

Stephen Seldin received his architecture license in 2016 and previously earned a Bachelors of Architecture at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. He worked most recently in San Francisco as a designer and project manager. A native of Davis, CA, Stephen recently moved back to New York from California. Among Stephen’s hobbies are cycling, tennis and large format photography.

As Office Manager, Robin Gitomer will oversee the design and architecture staff, handle HR, marketing and accounting responsibilities. She taught elementary education in Flushing, NY for the past decade. Before teaching, Robin worked as an interior designer for 20 years in New York. She worked on both residential and commercial projects. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her position, assisting firm principal Alan Berman. Robin enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling, visiting Africa, Europe and Israel. She is the mother of two adult sons.

“We are happy to add these new members to our staff. Our team works collaboratively and we look forward to the fresh ideas and skills they bring to Archetype,” Berman said.
